Employment advice when you need an experienced perspective

Employment issues can become difficult very quickly, particularly when you are dealing with them personally.

I work with employees and senior professionals on selected employment matters, providing practical advice on their position, the options available to them and the best way to approach what happens next.

This may involve a single piece of advice or support through a more complex employment process.

How I can help

I can assist with matters including restructures and redundancy, disciplinary and performance processes, personal grievances and employment disputes, medical incapacity and absence issues, proposed exits and settlement arrangements, employment agreement issues and other significant employment relationship concerns.

I can review correspondence and documentation, help you understand your legal and practical position, assist in preparing responses, engage with your employer or their advisers on your behalf, support negotiations and settlement discussions, and provide advocacy and support through mediation where appropriate.

My approach is practical and realistic. The objective is to understand what has happened, what outcome you are seeking and the best way to navigate the situation while protecting your position.

Early advice

People often seek advice only once a process is well underway or after an important response has already been provided.

Where possible, getting advice early can help you understand what matters, what does not, and how best to respond before positions become entrenched.

Individual engagements are subject to availability and any potential conflicts of interest.
